Hang the yarn between the two middle tines of the fork. Hold the yarn and fork handle together in one had. With your other hand wrap a long length of yarn around the fork tines 60times. Take the ends of short yarn (from step 1) and wrap and lace around the yarn ball that’s on the tines. Gently slide the yarn ball off the fork tines. Tighten the lacing and tie a knot. Using scissors cut through the outside edge of the yarn ball. It now looks like a pom pom. Roll the pom pom around in your hands. Trim the excess lengths of yarn. Repeat steps 1-4 to make a second pom pom in another colour. Repeat steps 1-4 with one difference on step 2: Wrap yarn around the fork tines 30 times, on the side closest to the handle. Then wrap the second yarn colour 30 times around the fork tines, next to the first colour. The result is a pom pom that is split into two distinct colours.
