Victoria records 221 new local COVID-19 cases

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says the state has recorded 221 new local COVID-19 cases. During a media conference on Wednesday, Premier Andrews said 98 of today’s new cases are “linked to known outbreaks and other cases that are already in the system”. Mr Andrews said there are now 1,920 active COVID-19 cases in the state. He said 86 per cent of all active cases are in people who are under the age of 50.
